old peoples home" it has a real home from home feel
about it, and we believe it is just the right size for
our small group. Come and join us,where you can happily
settle into more or less your own lifestyle, together
with our small gathering of friendly, outgoing, young

Whether you need help now, or are planning for the future
and whether you want information for yourself or for a
friend or relative, we hope you will enjoy sharing our
home and our days with us.
Poem
by Lyn
At Crantock Lodge you'll find you are able,
To put your feet under a table.
You'll be glad you are here to be cared for and pampered,
And your room will be kept to a very high standard.
Dave and Carole run the lodge with competent staff,
Happy to help or have a good laugh.

A buggy ride to Lusty Glaze,
It's all one needs in many ways.
With glorious scenery - just right.
To paint and admire from morning till night.
But if water colours are not for you,
You can try flower arranging too.
A game of cards might give you a kick,
Rummy, Snap, Sevens, take your pick.
The Scrabble words get wider each day,
But we all enjoy the way that we play.
So come and join our merry band,
What do you think? Can I deal you a hand.

Our Home Crantock Lodge is a detatched dorma bungalow
erected in 1965, situated in Sunny Cornwall in a much
sought after residential area of Newquay, approximately
a mile away from Newquay town centre.
Our Home has a frontage with easy car access to the
front entrance. The building is being substantially
altered and extended to comply with legislation,
and
to provide us with more pleasant and comfortable surroundings. Our rooms
are situated on both floors and the main recreation
areas are on the ground level.

We are situated on level ground in quiet, pleasant surroundings and within
walking distance of the local shopping complex at Chester Road. To the
rear of Crantock Lodge is the Barrowfields Headland overlooking Lusty Glaze
Beach.
Our Home is currently registered with the National Care
Standard Commission for 10 residents.

Five of our home's ten rooms have sea views, the other's
overlook the colourful garden.
The well maintained rooms are light spacious and very comfortable . They
are all individually decorated and
f urnished.
We are welcome to bring our own furniture
and there is a phone socket if we wish to have our own phone installed.
All rooms are centrally heated, have ensuite facilities,
